Our first tournament ahead of a stacked 2025 esports calendar is quickly approaching. As we look to kick things off, here are the invite dates for all of our competitions in 2025.

Skyesports 2025 Esports Roadmap - Invite Dates

Skyesports will be extending an invite to teams to participate in its 4 events in 2025 based on the Global VRS Rankings on the following days until all slots are filled:

• Skyesports Souvenir: January 6th, 2025
• Skyesports Masters: March 3rd, 2025
• Skyesports Championship: July 7th, 2025
• Skyesports World Tour: September 1st, 2025

The Skyesports Souvenir is a tier 2 event, meaning the invites will be extended to teams ranked 9 and below. The rest are tier 1 events. Please refer to our CS2 2025 Esports Roadmap for more information about these events.

Closed Qualifier Update

In our initial announcement for the 2025 CS2 roadmap, we had said that teams will be provided with bootcamp expenses to Europe for competing in the Closed Qualifier.

However, with many teams themselves bootcamping in Europe along with the logistical complications of ensuring visa approvals for many players in a stacked calendar to Europe may lead to last-minute cancellations, severely affecting the overall flow of the tournament and leaving us with limited time to find a replacement.

As a result, we have made the difficult decision to only provide hospitality support for teams to the Main Event throughout all events in our 2025 CS2 esports roadmap.

Therefore, the funds earlier assigned to this factor will be utilized for a better LAN experience and increasing the production experience for our fans throughout the year.
