Skyesports Masters 2023 Notice
Payments related to the Skyesports Masters 2023 have been paid out and any delays were communicated to the organization owners. The unpaid amount to one organization was also credited to the provided bank account – along with payment to other teams. However, it was refunded to the source account due to miscommunication from the side of the organization. This situation has now been rectified and the prize pool will be credited by the end of the month.
It is to be noted that each esports organization had the full freedom to manage their rosters and negotiate contracts with players independently of Skyesports. As a tournament organizer, Skyesports is not involved in the internal contract management of these teams.
We regret that there have been communication gaps between some organizations and their players, leading to claims of unpaid dues. Although we have limited access to the specifics of these negotiations, we are committed to supporting the players who are the backbone of the esports ecosystem.
To address these concerns, we are actively reaching out to all team owners to clarify any outstanding dues owed to players who competed in the Skyesports Masters 2023. Our goal is to ensure transparency and fairness for all participants.
The vision of the Skyesports Masters 2023 was to revive Counter-Strike in India, a goal we proudly achieved through innovative initiatives like creator collaborations and unique cafe qualifiers. However, our vision for the league is incomplete if the players, who are integral to the ecosystem, are not paid fairly.
We appreciate your understanding and patience as we work diligently to resolve these issues. Skyesports remains committed to fostering a thriving and fair esports environment for all.
Thank you for your continued support.
